Jeongwoo Hwang

My research focuses on understanding hydroclimate processes based on scientific and engineering principles. I have been focusing on the development of scientific approaches that integrates physical and statistical modeling techniques, including modern artificial intelligence methods. My research aims to support sustainable water resources management by advancing our understanding of hydroclimatology and the application of data science in water resources engineering.

I am currently a Research Associate in the Department of Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering at North Carolina State University working under the mentorship of Professor Sankar Arumugam. My current main research project is to develop flood attribution models for the continental United States.

Please refer to my CV for further details.
